Shortly after finding my video for the Assassins Creed post I found this and I think it is just hilarious. There are a few others on youtube by the same person but about different games including a Tetris one.

Azeroth and the Outlands are plagued by Zombies! The zombies are infesting cities and town and turning anyone they come in contact with into one of them. Throughout all the towns are Argent Healers who can cleanse you of their plague if you get to one in time, if not, you become a zombie and are cursed to wander around eating flesh and infecting all around.

For a few days Blizzard have made a bit of fun where players can turn into zombies and run around like a nut infecting players and characters. As a zombie you have a few base funtions, you can mangle people, infecting and damaging them in the process, you can "retch" a vile substance that infects all in its radius, you can call non player zombies to you to help out, you can "lurch" after people giving you a speed boost and them a bit of a scare. The only downfall to being a zombie is the only way to completely sustain yourself is to attack NPCs (Non Player Characters) or you can attack other players or else you run out of life and die, your "retch" also gives you health but eventually you will die if you do not eat someone. If being a zombie is not your thing then you can fight the zombie menace, but I reckon its more fun being a zombie.
I know this has nothing to do with gaming but Family Guy is awesome and I think this is just hilarious...

Set in both 2012 and 1191 and revolving around Desmond Miles, a bartender who has been kidnapped by a company known as Abstergo and is being held in order for Abstergo to access his genetic memory (memories from his ancestors that have been passed on through genes) through use of the Animus, thus allowing Desmond to relive the life of Altair, one of his ancestors who was part of the Assassin Brotherhood in 1191. The game starts with memories of Altair attempting to retrieve an artifact known as the Piece of Eden, but he is stopped by Robert de Sable, a member of the Knights Templar. Altair attempts to kill de Sable but fails and upon returning to the Brotherhood is demoted to an Initiate by Al Mualim "The Teacher", who is leader of the Brotherhood. Altair is then given the chance by Al Mualim to rise back up the ranks of the Brotherhood by killing 9 key figures within the Holy Land, taking you to places such as

Most of the gameplay is centred around Altair with a few parts where you control Desmond and find out more about the company Abstergo. As you progress through the ranks of the Brotherhood as Altair you learn new abilities which help you defeat your foes. The game requires you to use your abilities to find clues and information on how to assassinate key figures within the game, you can interrogate people, do tasks for people within your Brotherhood in exchange for what they know and when you aquire enough information you can take on your target to help take down the Knights Templar and remove them from the Holy Land. There are also additional achievements for things like surviving a jump from a certain height, kill a certain amount of foes in one fight or take out all the Templars scattered throughout the Holy Land. The game is only single player so those of you who enjoy multiplayer may not enjoy it as much but it is still a quite enjoyable game and it has a great plot line which is based around historic characters and events, making for a bit more substance to the game.

I give it a 9/10 as it is a great game and has fantastic graphics which just draw you in. The game has great replayability as there is a lot to do within it.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away... Actually, here on Earth, some wonderful person made this awesome game. Based on the original Star Wars trilogy, Lego Star Wars II follows the storyline pretty darn close in the form of one of the most popular contruction toys around...LEGO! You play as almost any character in the game as you shoot, chop and flat out demolish your way through the Star Wars universe.

You can play on your own or play multiplayer through the whole campaign, switching through characters as you utilise thier unique skills. You can access computers t open doors as R2D2, or lift objects with the force as Luke, Obi-Wan or even Darth Vader and the Emperor, you can fly through asteroid fields in the Millenium Falcon of pilot an X-Wing as you destroy the Death Star, you can even run around and remove limbs as Chewbacca. The game has lots of mini quests where you run around and find things in order to unlock new items, abilities and characters.

It is a great game that is easy to play and great fun for all ages and I recommend it especially if you are a fan of the Star Wars movies. I give it a 10/10, it is awesome and it has great replayability, GO BUY IT NOW!!!! I COMMAND YOU!!!

Once again Master Chief has found his way back to Earth but this time aboard a Forerunner ship which is controlled by the Covenant. The game starts with you plummeting to Earth which is once again under attack by the Covenant. Master Chief jumps to the front line to fight the Covenant and fight his way to the main Covenant Ship alongside the Arbiter who has now seen the error in his ways in blindly following the Prophets. A more dangerous threat arrives in the form of the Flood, a parasitic race of creatures which take on attributes of their host and basically devour every living thing. The Flood were encountered on both Halos and have been led to Earth by Cortana who was trapped in the Covenant mobile homeworld High Charity which was overrun by the Flood in Halo 2. The Flood have used High Charity to come to Earth, a fabulous new food source. Master Chief soon changes priority when he finds out that Cortana is aboard High Charity which has crashed to Earth and he rushes to save her from being destroyed by the Gravemind, a being which controls the Flood. It soon becomes a race against the clock as it is realised that the remaining Covenant still loyal to the Prophets have found another way to activate the remaining Halos which in turn will eliminate all life in the Universe and the heroes Master Cheif and Arbiter must go to a Forerunner installation known as The Ark to save the entire galaxy.

The campaign for this installation is through Master Chief's eyes with the Arbiter there to back you up and whilst the graphics are better the gameplay is similar to the other 2 Halos and they have kept the dual wielding of one handed weapons from Halo 2 and added a few extra weapons and some cool new vehichles to play around with. Multiplayer is much the same with the addition of customisable maps so that you can change positioning of weapons, vehicles, movable terrain and even respawn points, making it so that you can make games much more interesting. The addition of the Mongoose, a quad bike vehicle, has made for faster capture the flag missions and also has taken dinking to a whole new level, allowing for a rider and a passenger on the back who can shoot at enemies as you ride by. There is also the addition of the Hornet, a VTOL like vehicle that is kinda hard to control at first but has an advantage of missiles that track players. Halo 3, like Halo2, has the option to play online, but also has the ability to record videos of you playing Halo3 or take screenshots and show them to other people on Xbox Live.

Halo 3 is a great game and I recommend it for any fans of the Halo series, as well as any fans of shoot em up games. You don't need to play the first 2 Halos to play this one but if you want to follow the storyline it is definitely recommended. I give Halo 8/10, slightly lower than the others because the meanies left the ending wide open, making me wanna find out what was next.

GEEKS UNITE!!!

Once a year Blizzard entertainment, makers of Warcraft, World of Warcraft, Starcraft, & Diablo I, II &III, host a convention for their gamers to get together and bask in Blizzard's glory. The event is spaced over a few days and consists of numerous panels where gamers can question game creators, asking geeky question after geeky question, there are dance competitions (geeks + dancing + the occasional costume = hilarity), joke competitions (you seriously need to be a geek to get any of these jokes), and the always interesting Costume Competition where gamers display their costumes they have painstakingly made just for this moment of glory, the costumes range from full Warlock Vengeful Gear to the minimalistic Succubus outfit (trust me, its skimpy), unfortunately this year the contest went to someone who only really won because she was astride a giant mechanical turtle (no doubt daddy spent lots of time making it for her), but some of the outfits were just amazing and the time spent on them probably could have been put to better use but heck, they had fun, even if they were scared out of their wits on stage.

There were also numerous vendors peddling their Blizzard related wares such as themed T-Shirts which only a geek would find funny and a vendor who specialised in making personalised World of Warcraft figurines based on a player's actual World of Warcraft character (I would explain how they do it but I really wasn't paying attention to what the guy was saying cause it was boring).
Another part of BlizzCon was the Warcraft, Starcraft and World Of Warcraft tournaments where the Super Geeks battled for supremacy whether it be using a massive army of Orcs to smash down the Dwarves (this made much easier due to the fact that there is a lot less distance to smash them down), or Zerging those fancy pants Protoss in a massive space battle, or even Sapping some dopey Shaman in an arena as your Lock buddy fears the crap out of some silly Pally and DoTs him till he cries.

All in all there is great fun to be had at BlizzCon for the entire geek community and even if you can't get there it has been made available Live through Pay Per View telly.

Master Chief has escaped from Halo and is currently stationed at a Defence Station in orbit of Earth. Unfortunately a Covenant fleet has followed him back. It is up to Master Chief to defend Earth and save humanity from this threat but just when he gets close to one of the Covenant Prophets (Leaders of the Covenant and a bit up themselves) the Prophet's Space Ship flees from Earth and the Master Chief is in tow aboard the Human vessel In Amber Clad. They follow the Covenant ship only to discover another Halo which the Covenant once again plan on activating.
The Campaign mode revolves around the Master Chief mainly but has a sub plot in which you are disgrace Covenant fleet commander who failed to activate the first Halo, now the Prophets have lain upon him the title of the Arbiter, a Covenant hero brought forth in times of need to fight for the Covenant. As the Arbiter you are required to carry out missions for the Prophets with minimal expectation of survival. The Prophets then decide to put their protection into the hands of a new race known as the Brutes (Big ape like creatures) which pisses off the traditionally favored Elites.
Once again you can play 2 player Cooperative which is still great fun or you can pit yourself against your friends or play online against the world in Xbox Live. Halo 2 features many new maps and weapons as well as the ability to dual wield one handed weapons such as pistols, this made gameplay more interesting with the ability to combine different weapons in order to make deadly combinations (Plasma Pistol and SMG being one of the deadly combos which people use to piss me off). There are also new vehicles available in multiplayer which gives you more ways to blow people up.
Once again another good game made by Bungie and definitely worth playing. I'd say its a 9/10.

Set in the year 2252, mankind have mastered space travel and have colonised numerous planets. In their explorations mankind encounter a group of alien races known as the Covenant. The Covenant believe that Humanity is an affront to all they believe in and set about destroying mankind. Many planets are destroyed and billions of lives lost as the Covenant continue their campaign against mankind's colonies. In the destruction of a planet named Reach a sole human vessel, Pillar Of Autumn, makes a break from the planet, fleeing through the Covenants forces and eventually finding themselves in the middle of space, a giant ringworld (Halo) looming ahead of them, covenant close behind.
Halo is a First Person Shooter and it begins on Pillar Of Autumn as your character known as Master Chief, a Spartan (cybernetically enhanced humans created to assist in the war against the Covenant) and thought to be the only Spartan left after the destruction of the planet Reach. Master Chief has been given the task to protect the ships A.I system, known as Cortana, which is uploaded into his MJOLNIR armor systems.
Halo's Campaign mode can be played solo or you can have a friend join in and help in Cooperative mode. As Master Chief you fight your way from Pillar Of Autumn down to the surface of Halo where you find that Halo is actually a weapon crafted by an ancient race known as the Forerunners. The Covenant also know of Halo's capabilities as a weapon and want to use it to destroy mankind, you as Master Chief have to stop the Covenant from using Halo and destroying mankind using the weapons and vehicles you acquire along the way. Cooperative mode follows the exact same storyline as solo mode, the only difference is you have a bit of help, which is great when you play on harder difficulties but can be a pain if you want to explore because if your buddy goes too far ahead you get teleported to where they are.
Halo also has a Multiplayer mode in which you duke it out against friends in free for all of team matches staged on numerous indoor and outdoor maps. The outdoor maps allow the use of vehicles which is great fun if you can get in one fast enough (not so fun if you are getting chased down by a rather large tank).
Halo is a great game and I give it 9/10. It is great for beginner FPS (First Person Shooter) players as it is fairly easy to use and if you play campaign mode there are hints to show you how to play.

In a little over a month (39 days if you wanna be fussy) the much awaited Expansion for the World of Warcraft series shall arrive in stores in Australia (Bloody America gets it 4 hours before us. Damn them to heck). Wrath of the Lich King will be set in the cold, harsh land of Northrend where the Lich King has awoken and is getting set to destroy all life on Azeroth.

The addition of a new class of character the Death Knight is sure to make things interesting and there is no doubt players will make one just to see what they are all about. Another addition is the new profession of Inscribing which allows the Inscriber to augment the effects of spells and abilities, they also will have the ability to make Vellum for Enchanters to put their enchants on which will make it easier to sell enchants. There will be new races which will be found in the land of Northrend including Tuskarr, a race of walrus people, natives of Northrend. There are a lot more things that Lich king will have to offer but I'm too damn lazy to go into detail.

With not long left before Lich King hits the stores now is the best time to get to Level 70 so you don't miss out (or if you just want a Death Knight then 55 is the Level to get to).
